Competencies

• Tests engines and other operating subassemblies based on mechanical principles in order to detect faults.
• Replaces defective parts, ensuring the standards provided in the vehicle’s technical book.
• Performs adjustments to engine subassemblies (carburetors, injection pumps, steering system, braking, suspension, etc.).
• Technically tests/verifies the vehicle and its mechanical subassemblies.
• Cleans the engine and components using chemicals (eg cleaning solvents), rags, air jet or other equipment.
• Reassembles the engine after completion of repair and/or maintenance work.
• Responsible for the quality of the work performed in accordance with the standards provided in the vehicle’s technical book and/or specified by the manufacturer.
• Performs repair and maintenance work on axles, the steering system, braking and suspension of motor vehicles.
• Measure, prepare and test chemical solutions used for engine cleaning, maintenance and repair.
• Performs diagnostics and testing of engines, axles, steering, braking and suspension systems in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and current legislation.
• Collaborates with other workers (colleagues) to repair, move the vehicle, components or necessary equipment.
• Checks and tests the mode of operation of the motor vehicles after carrying out their repairs and/or maintenance activities.
• Disassembles the engine and removes defective parts using simple and/or torque wrench kits, jack kits, jacks, chains and pulleys, mini-cranes.
• Knows the rules and specifications necessary to determine the equipment and machinery/devices necessary to carry out vehicle repair and maintenance activities.

What we expect from you

• Drivers license cat B
• English B2
• Minimum experience 3 years as car mecanic
• Must have bank account
• Proof of clean criminal record ( dovada de cazier judiciar )

We offer

• 16 euro brutto per hour
• 40 hours guaranteed
• Accommodation in a house with own room

What is arranged for you (for a fee)

• Accommodation: 50euro a week
• Health insurance : 36,21 euro a week
